greenrefits.ie · prepared for GreenRefits only

Not one of your 13 tracked searches has the word "solar" in it

This review is about who your website brings in. We went through the site, your search rankings and your Google listing. You have a real dedicated solar PV page, real component brand logos for Trina and Huawei, and four named client testimonials on the homepage. None of that shows up in what Google actually sends you traffic for: all 13 tracked searches are about heat pumps, green mortgages and the SEAI one-stop-shop scheme, and none of them converts into a visit. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

Heat pumps and grants carry the site. Solar carries nothing

13 searches are tracked for greenrefits.ie, up 30% on last month, real and growing momentum. Every one of them is about SEAI grants, the one-stop-shop retrofit scheme, or green mortgages. Not one names solar, despite a real dedicated solar PV page and a real Huawei optimiser page existing on the site today.

solar panels for homen/aNot tracked. Your own dedicated solar PV page isn't ranking for any solar search.Absent

This is real, growing content, just aimed entirely away from solar. Your solar PV and ground-mount pages exist and read well. Google currently has no reason to show either of them for anyone searching for solar.

Bottom line: The site is winning searches. None of them are the ones a solar customer types.
02 The specifics

Three things holding the solar side back

Wrong
Google shows a different business name than your logo
Your Google listing title reads "NZEB Technologies - Renewable energy and residential retrofitting." Your homepage logo and every testimonial say GreenRefits. A visitor searching for GreenRefits by name may not recognise the search result as yours.
Missing
No page targets a solar buying search directly
You have a real solar PV page and a real ground-mount page. Neither one is currently aimed at a specific, named solar search the way your grants and mortgage pages are aimed at their topics.
Dated
The footer copyright reads 2025
A small detail, but it's the kind of thing a visitor checking how current a business is will notice. It's a year behind the actual date.
Worth noticing

This is not a design problem. Real Trina and Huawei component logos, real named client testimonials, real case-study pages are all there already. What's missing is aim on the solar side specifically: pages and a listing that name solar the way the rest of the site names grants and mortgages. This is steady monthly work, not a rebuild.

Bottom line: Real solar content exists. It just isn't in the part of the site Google is currently rewarding.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
This is what people see when your site comes up on Google today, next to what it should say.
What Google shows now
https://greenrefits.ie
NZEB Technologies - Renewable energy and residential retrofitting
NZEB uniquely offers a "no move-out" retrofit model that is cheaper, faster, that gets you to a B rating and a Green Mortgage threshold.
What it should show
https://greenrefits.ie
Solar PV & Home Retrofits | GreenRefits
Solar PV, battery storage, heat pumps and full home retrofits. SEAI-registered, "no move-out" retrofit model that gets your home to a Green Mortgage rating.
Fix 2 · The pages the site is missing
Ordered to give the existing solar content a real search to aim at.
/solar-panels-louth/ → owner: your named home county, no solar search currently tracked
/solar-pv-grants/ → owner: pair your existing grants expertise with the solar page directly
Fix 3 · Quick fixes
Small items, done in one sitting.
Google listing name → change "NZEB Technologies" to "GreenRefits" so it matches your logo and testimonials
Copyright year → update 2025 to 2026 in the footer
Bottom line: Fix the Google listing name first. Right now it doesn't match the brand on your own homepage.
04 The plan

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

Your three biggest searches add up to

3,260 people a month searching for green mortgages, one-stop-shop and heat pump grants.

Visits already arriving from those exact searches today: 0.

None of it is a solar search, despite a real dedicated solar page existing.

The site is already growing 30% month on month in a market adjacent to solar. That's real momentum to redirect, not something to build from zero. You know your close rate on solar enquiries and what a job is worth. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: The growth is real. It's just growing in retrofit, not solar, right now.
Why sooner beats later

Keyword growth like this doesn't wait for the solar side to catch up on its own. The longer solar stays unaimed while retrofit content keeps compounding, the further behind it falls relative to the rest of the site.
